Hi, I’m Amy Sokolow
I'm currently the digital executive producer at 7NEWS in Boston. Previously, I was a reporter at The Boston Herald and The Lowell Sun. I graduated from Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism master’s program in 2020.
I have been published in outlets including USA Today, The Boston Globe, STAT News, Native News Online, UPI, MarketWatch and The Tampa Bay Times. I'm interested in reporting on politics and policy, public health, education, tech, the economy and more.

The Atlantic
I worked as a product manager for The Atlantic from 2018-2019. I learned to manage complex projects for the magazine, serving as a bridge between teams and working closely with developers and designers. This experience sparked my interest in getting on the other side of the team — working in journalism.
